I love summer for many reasons: the sun, warm weather, trips to the beach, picnics, beautiful flowers blooming everywhere and just being outside with friends and family, but as far as fashion there are two main reasons why I love summer: sandals and light flowy dresses.

I know I’ve written about these shoes in several previous posts, but I can’t get over how much I love them. The simple delicate white flowers and cork wedge are the perfect finish to so many outfits including this lovely dress. It’s the perfect summer outfit: beautiful wedge sandals and a long, yet light flowy floral dress topped off with a jean jacket, of course, because no matter how warm and sunny it is I always get the chills when it’s breezy.

And it’s always breezing in Fargo-Moorhead. It was especially windy (and bright) the day we took these photos. I ended sitting in the shade against the building, so I wasn’t squinting into the sun or being blown over by the wind.
