As I was searching for that “something” — that special new transitional piece to add to my wardrobe — a jean jacket came to mind. Not because I necessarily wanted a jean jacket. In fact, I didn’t want a jean jacket at all. But, I did want something like a jean jacket, in the sense that I could wear it with multiple outfits and style it a variety of ways. As I looked through my folder of blog photos, I realized my Heritage 81 jean jacket from Forever 21 has been my most worn piece this summer.

So after much searching for a new transitional piece, I finally found that “something” to add to my wardrobe. No, it wasn’t a jean jacket or a cardigan or a blazer. But, it is something I can pair with endless outfits and wear throughout every season. In fact, I am going to wear it to work tomorrow. And maybe out to dinner Friday night.
