When Robert and I started dating, I called our dates “little adventures” because that’s exactly what they were. For our first real date, we went out to eat at Johnny Carino’s and then ended up going to the mall and looking at all the adorable puppies. As we wandered around the mall talking, we heard a choir singing, so we got coffee and watched a middle school Christmas program. Now, we rarely plan dates but we have little adventures all the time.

Yesterday, we decided to go to Island Park in Fargo for a little walk. We ended up watching a tennis match, taking pictures with all the statues like tourists and chasing squirrels. Yes, we chased squirrels.

It was a little cooler when we left the apartment, so I wore capris and a striped tank with a knit vest. I finished the look with a long gold necklace and my Mix No. 6 sandals.

It was the perfect look for a chill day. The knit vest got a little warm after walking around, but I couldn’t help wearing it. I’m getting very anxious for fall and can’t wait to start layering all my looks more. Fall is my absolute favorite season for fashion.
