As I was running errands on campus this week, someone yelled,” Are you a super model?” I shook my head and laughed. Of course, I’m not a super model, but I am now on the cover on a magazine! During my internship at West Central Tribune this summer, I had the opportunity to help out with their new magazine Live It! I wrote a fashion article on how to transition a wardrobe from summer to fall with 5 key pieces, as well as an article about small business owners using Pinterest. My fashion story was chosen as the cover story for the magazine and I was asked to be the model! So, here I am on the cover of Live It!

And guess who shot the photo – Robert! The editors at West Central Tribune have all seen Robert’s amazing photography and they asked him to do it freelance! So, Robert and I went out with a bunch of clothes and shoes to do the magazine cover shoot! We spent several hours and shot over 1,000 photos at different locations. I styled five summer looks and then added different pieces to transition those looks for fall.

I transitioned this fun summer look into a perfect fall look by swapping out the G by Guess flip flops for Madden Girl Pinup Boots (both from DSW) and adding a cream cardigan from Maurices.
