Last winter, I started a 30-30 challenge on the blog, and now it’s time for another one!
The challenge: Choose 30 items from your closet. Wear only those 30 items for 30 days, creating a unique look each day. Don’t purchase any new clothing or accessories until challenge is complete.
The purpose: Save money and reinvent your wardrobe with creative new pairings.
My items:
From top left to bottom right:
Flare ReRock jeans from Express, Sheer white button up from Express, Gray knit tights from Target, Red Mossimo jeans from Target, Black and white striped cardigan from Herbergers, Pale pink tank with black trim from Express, Black and silver striped scarf,
Knit skirt from Target, Dark skinny jeans from Target, Turquoise body-con dress from Forever 21, Black belt from Target, White camisole from Aeropostale, Black tights, Black Steve Madden Pinup girl boots from DSW
Pink and gray striped sweater from GAP, Turquoise lace tank from Express, Black cropped blazer from JCP, Tan cardigan from Maurices, Pink button up cardigan from Target, Favorite comfy t-shirt from Sonshine
Purple tank top, White skinny jeans from Express, Pink scarf, Black body-con skirt from Forever 21, Jean leggings from DSW, Striped tank top from Express
Black JellyPop pumps from DSW, Black Steve Madden P-Heaven flats from DSW, Striped Steve Madden flats from DSW, Blue New Balance running shoes from DSW
…
I included some nice items for interviews, casual items for schools, some items for going out and some comfy clothes including my ultimate favorite t-shirt.
After having done the challenge once, I knew what I was missing last year and knew what to include to hopefully make it easier and better this year. I’ll be posting everyday with my new look, so stay tuned! Also, if you decide to do the challenge too, leave me a note! I’d love to follow you on your journey.
