Robert and I spent Christmas Eve with my family in Becker. We played games with my niece and nephew, braided bread, made sugar cookies, had fondue and opened presents while Skyping with my big brother in South Dakota.

It was a bit crazy with the kids and the dogs, but it was a lot of fun. Robert, my sister and I frosted cookies while my niece and nephew sprinkled them. They used so many sprinkles we were sprinkling cookies with the sprinkles from other cookies, but they were delicious!

Making Christmas goodies and homemade cards has always been one of my favorite parts of Christmas.

This year my mom, sister and I decided to add to that tradition by making homemade gifts as well. I found some adorable homemade body scrubs on Pinterest and decided to give it a try. My mom mixed all the ingredients while my sister and I decorated the jars with labels and ribbon.

They turned out great and looked so adorable!
