As I stared at my closet once again searching for a new pairing, I decided to start with something simple and neutral. This little black tank top and gray cardigan were perfect! I paired them with flare jeans and my JellyPop heels.

But of course that wasn’t all – you know me, I had to add a little color! To the scarves, I went! I wanted something thick and colorful. This big mustard yellow scarf was perfect! I always love pairing this lovely color with gray. The two just compliment each other so well.

Although I loved the yellow scarf, I decided to save it for another day and instead went with my other thick colorful scarf: this gorgeous pink/red/purple animal print one! Love it! It was just the pop of color I needed!

I love how scarves, especially colorful ones, can completely transform a look. They’re also so much fun to play around with and tie different ways. I plan to work them into my looks more often.
