Character’s Closet: Joanna Locasta of NBC’s Deception

I love shows about wealthy families for two reasons: they’re all about drama, and I get to live vicariously through characters and their closets full of designer labels. My latest obsession is NBC’s Deception.

The gorgeous Meagan Good plays Joanna Locasto, a detective who’s investigating the recent death of her childhood best friend, Vivian Bowers. Growing up, Locasto lived with the wealthy Bowers because her mother was their maid. When she returns for Vivian’s funeral, Mr. Bowers himself asks her to stay with them for awhile, unknowingly helping with her investigation.

While she’s cozying up with Julian (Vivian’s brother), comforting Mia (Vivian’s secret daughter) and snooping around the house and office for hints at the murder, Joanna always looks absolutely stunning.

Her looks range from full out ball gowns to business suits, to jeans and a tee. I love that her wardrobe is full of color. From her solid color button-ups, to her gorgeous green gown to her bright tanks and tees, she’s always got a pop of color.

She also knows how to rock the outerwear, as she’s often seen in a coat of some sort. I absolutely love her long trench coats and cannot wait until I can get one of my own.

Here are a few of my quick picks for Joanna:
