I bought this beautiful silk fuchsia top on sale at Express recently and absolutely love it. It’s so soft and looks stunning with all black. Yesterday, I paired it with black pants and a black blazer for a morning at the bank. I love how the pink just POPS right out from under the blazer.

Later in the day, I swapped out my dress pants for jeans and rushed to my night class – late again. It’s been a bit stressful and busy over here, so I’ve been taking advantage of all my transitional clothing.

I’ve discovered that most of my work tops work well with both dress pants and jeans, which makes it easy to transition my look throughout the day. It also saves me a little time changing clothes.

Tomorrow I’ll be doing about the same thing except instead of dressing for work in the morning, I’ll be dressing for a job interview. I’ve been trying to figure out the perfect outfit because as we all know, first impressions are EVERYTHING. So, of course, I have to look good.
For interviews, my goal is always to look professional, yet find a way to stand out from other applicants. Whether it’s a colorful scarf, a chunky necklace, bold shoes or a statement purse, I like to find something that the interviewer will remember about me, something that will show a bit of my fun, quirky personality and something that will give me that extra boost of confidence walking into an interview.
What accessory gives you that extra boost of confidence?

Hope you rocked the interview, Jasmine! Keep me posted on what you’ll be doing after graduation — I’m sure it will be something amazing!
Aww!Thanks, Ash! The interview went very well, but I heard there are internal applicants so I’m not getting my hopes up. There are plenty of other options!
